Comedians Ity and Fancy Cat say that they are apologising to deejay Beenie Man for any embarrassment that a recent skit done on their popular show may have caused.
In the skit, aired on the 'Ity and Fancy Cat show' on Sunday night, an actor depicting Beenie Man was seen going to the house of his estranged wife D' Angel. While at the house, the actor was confronted by a Shebadda lookalike who mocked the deejay about his skills as a good husband. D'Angel and Beenie Man's four-year-old son Marco Dean was also mentioned in the skit.

"No drugs, smoking or fighting" was lesson number one on the season debut of Teacha's Pet, which premiered last Friday, starring popular dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel.
Before the first day of 'school' was over, the house of 19 'pet' hopefuls bubbled over with drama with one contestant already 'expelled' from the line-up.
After an argument with twins- 'Nique' and 'Niqua' , a seemingly disturbed 'Australia', a 29-year-old Kartel fan, acted out in wild confrontations with other members of the cast.

Chairs, desks, markers, whiteboard dusters, a producer, a director, media and representatives from LIME were all present, but Vybz Kartel was absent from the press briefing of his reality TV series at LIME Jamaica Corporate Office, Kingston 10, yesterday.
After waiting for 45 minutes, it was announced that Vybz Kartel would be late for the event due to 'legitimate medical reasons'. However, after almost an hour, clips from the show and several speakers later, there was still no Vybz Kartel.

Amelia 'Milk' Sewell returns to TV as the 'substitute teacha's pet.' Milk will be giving challenges to Kartel's lady loves on the upcoming reality dating show 'Teacha's Pet.'
As persons await the premiere of deejay Vybz Kartel's debut reality show Teacha's Pet this Friday at 10 p.m on CVM, The STAR caught up with Milk to talk about the show. After having been off television as a host since 2008, Milk is excited to be back on air and working with Kartel. She elaborated on her role saying, "I'm the substitute teacha's pet. I'll be there when di teacha (Kartel) can't come to class."
Milk believes she is perfect for the show as she has been good friends with Kartel. "We've been the best of friends for the past 10 years, so I'm the perfect go between him and the girls. You have to come through me to get to Kartel,

Cashflow denies involvement in scam

Local record label Cashflow has come out publicly to distance itself from allegations that it is involved in a scam.
The Cashflow camp recently went public on Richie B's talk show on Hot 102 to clear the air, following allegations by upcoming artistes that they have received calls from scammers claiming to be representatives of the record label.
According to Buju Wayne, publicist for Cashflow Records, unscrupulous persons have been calling artistes and making promises of an exclusive tour with I-Octane in exchange for a payment of $50,000.

Less than a month after his release from prison, Buju Banton has already recorded a song called Things A Come Up.
The song was recorded on Sunday on Delly Ranx's 'Saudi Arabia' rhythm at Buju's home studio in Tamarac Florida. The rhythm also has songs from Delly Ranx, Wayne Wonder, Gramps Morgan, ZJ Liquid, Teflon and Froggy Madd Squad.
In the song Buju Banton, whose real name is Mark Myrie, speaks about politics, the defence forces, the economy and violence in Jamaica.
"Stop murder poor people legal and illegal/ It's not a show, who put Jamaica pon go slow/ No money nah run, a just pure blood a flow/ Light bill, water bill and none a dem caan owe/ Labourite, PNP, two a dem a joke," he sings.

Busy Signal denies making counteraction

Dancehall artiste Busy Signal is categorically denying having recently recorded a dub plate as a counteraction to a lyrical attack by Twin of Twins.
The deejay, in an interview yesterday, said that while he recorded a dub plate for the Cash Money sound system in 2006, it did not involve the name of an artiste, and it was never done as a counteraction for any songs done by the dancehall duo.

Buju supporters happy about bail

After being locked away in a US jail for ten months, reggae artiste Buju Banton was finally offered bail yesterday, making his friends, well-wishers and fans extremely happy.
Yesterday, United States judge Anthony Porcelli offered bail to the artiste, whose real name is Mark Myrie.

However, bail was granted at US$250,000 (J$21,375,000) and under strict conditions. Porcelli also ordered that Banton be placed under 24-hour surveillance, the cost being incurred by the defence and it will also have to be approved by the court. He will also have to wear an electronic monitor and undergo drug testing. He will also have to receive an immigration bond to prevent deportation, as his US visa had been revoked.

Deejay Rodney 'Bounty Killer' Pryce, should appear in court by Wednesday, following his arrest by police on Saturday night.
Deputy Superintendent Altermoth Campbell of the Constant Spring Police Station, told THE STAR the deejay will remain in custody until his court date.
