About Mighty Crown
Mighty Crown was founded in 1991 by friends from Yokohama, Japan. Mighty Crown gradually got their fame by playing at clubs and by selling self-produced mix tapes throughout Japan. After building their sound system(movable speaker boxes) in 1994, they started clashing with other Japanese sound systems and became the undisputed and undefeated sound clash champion in Japan (1998). Since then, they have been influencing and leading the whole dancehall scene in Japan.

Behind the name Musical Mix is a man filled with an entrepreneur spirit that drives him to put mix tapes out weekly. Born in Trinidad & Tobago and then migrated to the United States in the early 90’s, Marlon carried his skills with him. It all began during the late 80’s when he desired to be a part of the turn table era having the love for Music. He placed his first touch on Numark Turntables, not too many DJ’s acquired the skills to play on these equipments.Marlon came to New York and joined the number one Dj team best known as “Foreign Base”. From then on he met his friends making a name for themselves known as “Musical Mix”.

Madd Squad Sound System was founded in July of 2001 by two young men, Jermaine, aka “Froggy Rock” and Vaughn, aka “Striker”, from Montego Bay , Jamaica . Since they started, they have toured major venues over the world including the United States and Canada , as well as the Caribbean Islands & england. we also performed at major events like world clash, 45 shoot out (ny), reggae sumfest, fullyloaded to name a few, and have played against the top sound systems in the world, such as: Stone Love, Bass Odyssey, Killamanjaro, Mighty Crown, Tony Matterhorn , Fire Links, Black kat , One Love and many more

There are over 200 sound systems in Jamaica to date, but when the question is asked as to which is the champion and reigning king of them all, without hesitation the response is Stone Love. Stone Love made their entry into the dancehall business in 1972 and for the past 34 years it has been the sound systems with he most potent and magnetic force to pull crowds and cork any dancehall.

Heights Higher Heights Sound came about in 2001. It first started with Father G owner when it was called FATHER G MOVEMENTS. In 2001 a youth by the name of Bobby-D came in the picture. Bobby D was just A Dj from the Cayman Islands. They Both Linked Up 10-20 of January 2001 both decided team up with music. The name Higher Heights came bout in a dream of Bobby-D from then the Name just sticked the people of Jamaica accept it loving it and embrace it.

Born Nicholas Peterson Nico Bam Bam� became musically inclined at age 9 and from there on it has been no looking back. He is a true child of the dancehall who remembers sneaking out of his home at a tender age to attend dances in the inner city of Southside Kingston. His love for music grew to the extent of him setting up a neighbors component set into a make shift sound. Little did Nico know that his talent would excel for him to become apart of sounds such as Digitech, Squad 51, LA Benz, Jam One and then in October 1994 marked his debut on the “World Immortal Stone Love

Chinese assassin was founded by Peter lee aka DJ P-Lee and Ringo Lee aka Johnny Ringo about five years ago. Our family moved to South Florida where we got involved with the music here. We originally came from Jamaica where we owned and played sounds for many years before migrating to the U.S. Our other brother Bobby Chin from Black Chiney was the first to make a big impact on the dancehall. He left King Earthquake from Washington D.C. joined Poison Dart, and then Supa Dups and he formed the now ever popular Black Chiney.

After several name changes, Rico was finally satisfied with ?Natural Vibes. Original members were Rico & Fatboy. In 1998 Rico formed a partnership with Corporal, that partnership ended in December 2003.

On July 7th 1984, Mooma Loudmouth gave birth to a handful of talent & trouble. Loudmouth, who excelled as a child in all his music programs had a special niche for musical compositions and melodies which helped him become the best trombone and alto sax player in school. When he turned 15 he was introduced to a CD mixer and with the help of DJ Cue he quickly fell in love with the device and began compiling his own mixes to bring to school.
